I was avoiding Japanese style tattoo for a long time because of my cultural background
and lack of interest because of it.
Now it has been 15 years since I left Japan that I have new appreciation for the culture and feel fresh to approach it with a different perspective without the preconceived idea of Japanese culture as I knew it.
